VVSoft Inc., a Reston, VA based company is currently seeking a programmer analyst.

Status: Full time

Job Description: Responsibilities include analysis, design, development and testing of applications at VVSoft. Provide full life cycle support to new processes and systems to meet the needs of strategic initiatives, and integrate these processes and systems into existing applications. Utilize technical skills to design develop and test technical solutions to business problems. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure standards and procedures are met for a variety of complex applications. Provide analytical and problem solving skills when addressing and resolving issues, assessing possible systems impacts, and recommending technical solutions. Job requires a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related analytic or scientific discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired; Two plus years of relevant experience; or specialized training or certification in appropriate technologies (SAS, DBMS, SQL, UNIX scripting, DataStage (Designer, Manager and Director), ClearCase, ClearQuest, RapidSQL, SQL*PLUS, SQL*Loader, Autosys)
